Nineteen Methacton students, from elementary to high school, had an incredible day at the Special Olympics Games hosted by Spring-Ford on Friday, May 8th. Joining athletes from eight local districts, our Warriors gave their all in the tennis ball and softball throws, the standing long jump, and the 25m, 50m, and 200m races. It was wonderful to see our amazing Methacton athletes alongside their supportive student buddies as they earned those well-deserved ribbons.
A huge thank you goes out to the Spring-Ford School District for hosting such a great event. We also want to share our appreciation for our dedicated Special Education team of educators, paraprofessionals, and related service providers, as well as the wonderful student buddies and volunteers who made the day so special.
