This fall's recipient of the H.E.R.O.S. in the Making Award was presented to Woodland 3rd grade student, Lyanna Carpenter. Lyanna consistently demonstrates impressive self-motivation, approaching each day with curiosity and a genuine desire to grow. Her kindness is evident in the way she supports classmates and helps create a welcoming environment for everyone. She serves as a strong role model, showing others what it means to act with integrity and respect. Whether assisting a peer or stepping up to help the class without being asked, she takes initiative in meaningful ways. Her actions truly embody the spirit of our H.E.R.O.S. in the Making initiative.

The H.E.R.O.S. in the Making initiative is a program from the Lower Providence Township Police Department that recognizes students who are helpful, empathetic, respectful, and optimistic.

Congratulations, Lyanna!
